:boogie:JE SUIS FINI !!!:boogie:

Ah, finally. The first place prize for my contest of long ago. This was supposed to be just coloured pencil so that it would be done quickly, but when *ZurinaRose requested a forest setting, I couldn't imagine trying to draw trees and leaves without the help of Photoshop filters and brushes. Hoh, yes! I made a very heavy use of them, even creating a few new brushes to help with the process. >_< But, now I find that I really like drawing trees in Photoshop, so...bring it on! :mwahaha: Or something like that. ^_^'

So, these are Maesgras (seated) and Elden (napping), two elves who spend a conciderable amount of time wandering through the forests.

Aw, that's lovely! They look so cute and comfortable together. The detail shots are impressive, too. ^__^
And I agree, there's something addictive about painting forests. They'll drive you nuts and take eternity and a half, yet once you're finished you want to do it all over again. It's hard to explain, hee, but difficulty aside, they're quite enjoyable and even calming to paint. ...I love being an artist. XD

*blushes* You're very welcome. I'm so glad you like it so much. It makes it worth all the time and effort. *nods* Besides that, it was a very good learning experience that I probably wouldn't have gotten under different circumstances. So...thank you. ^__^

Thank you! ^__^

Ah, yes. Scenery in general, actually, I find. It's so very flexable. Faces must be exact or they'll look funny, but if scenery is arguing with you, sometimes it's okay to let it have it's way. Sometimes it even turns out better. But...I still don't have the patience to draw very many individual leaves. lol.

Lol. Something like that. The only time I've used traditional media for a detailed forest was in this one: [link] --and that didn't use coloured pencil. ^_^'' Spunges and stiff-bristled brushes do about the same thing as Photoshop filters. :lmao:

I'm glad you like it. ^__^ Zurina likes it, too, so yes, it was worth everything!
